Last year, Phil defied the odds after claiming the PGA Championship, becoming the oldest player ever to win a Major at the age of 50. A month after his historical feat, Mickelson was interviewed by Washington Post. In the interview, he talked about fatherhood as well as many other eye-opening topics.

Nonetheless, Lefty then gave his diet details about his prime playing days, which included meals of cheeseburgers and all the other appetites that most other golfers would refuse. “I haven’t done a great job of that throughout my career”, said Phil Mickelson while talking about his diet in the past.

He further regretted his past by saying, “I wish I had done better”. Nonetheless, the 52-year-old then claimed that getting into shape was never too late and he had set his sights on it. “It’s not too late. I’m getting after it now”, ended Phil.
