On this day three years ago, Thomas woke up and called the traditional Thanksgiving dinner “overrated.” The tweet caused an uproar among netizens, but the former World No. 1 only wanted to make his point in the open.

He made the confession while quoting a tweet from Twitter user Jon Becker, who asked for such controversial statements. His tweet read, “Please quote tweet this with your most controversial food opinion, I love controversial food opinions.”

Thomas fell into the trap, but three years down the line, a 29-year-old Thomas sought forgiveness. He admitted that he was wrong while appreciating his Thanksgiving meal. However, he mentioned that a switch from turkey to steak in the meal would have been lovely, but we doubt whether that could be possible!

What is Thomas up to nowadays?

Thomas is currently on vacation after the end of a grueling golf season. Apart from the chaos that ensued after the formation of the LIV Golf Series, the year was a special one for JT.
