PGA Tour golfer, Justin Thomas, wasn’t fond of Thanksgiving meals previously. He once tweeted against the traditional meal while admitting it was a controversial opinion. However, it looks like time has healed Thomas to enjoy his meals recently. His tweet today backtracks his opinion from three years ago, admittedly due to a change of heart.

On this day three years ago, Thomas woke up and called the traditional Thanksgiving dinner “overrated.” The tweet caused an uproar among netizens, but the former World No. 1 only wanted to make his point in the open.

He made the confession while quoting a tweet from Twitter user Jon Becker, who asked for such controversial statements. His tweet read, “Please quote tweet this with your most controversial food opinion, I love controversial food opinions.”

Thomas fell into the trap, but three years down the line, a 29-year-old Thomas sought forgiveness. He admitted that he was wrong while appreciating his Thanksgiving meal. However, he mentioned that a switch from turkey to steak in the meal would have been lovely, but we doubt whether that could be possible!

What is Thomas up to nowadays?

Thomas is currently on vacation after the end of a grueling golf season. Apart from the chaos that ensued after the formation of the LIV Golf Series, the year was a special one for JT.

Thomas made it two Major Championships for him after securing the PGA Championship this year. Thomas now has two PGA Championships to his name, joining an elusive list of players to carry that accolade.

However, Thomas wasn’t able to recapture his No. 1 ranking in the OWGR (Overall World Golf Rankings). He stood in eighth place on the golf standings, with an eye to improve upon that record heading into the next season.
