Bryson DeChambeau, like several other golf greats, left the tour early in June. He left the PGA Tour to sign with LIV Golf. Since then, he’s been an outspoken advocate in favor of LIV Golf and its members. In a recent podcast, Bryson was asked about his future, and his response was far from expected.

Bryson DeChambeau is looking forward to winning a few majors
‘The scientist’ began by saying he thought he had a long career ahead of him. He told him his career had just begun and he still had a long way to go. He went on to add that he had made a calculation and stated, “I’m going to have probably close to 100 major championship opportunities for the rest of my career.”

DeChambeau is very confident that he can take home a few more wins and hopes he can win some more majors too. With his skill, it’s more than likely that the American golfer can go on to win tournaments. More than a few, most likely. He said, “I really believe that I have good opportunity to win a few more times, a few more majors.”

Bryson also said his plans for the future had a “part two.” And then he went on to add that one day he hoped to reclaim trophies. He said, “I’d love to win tournaments that I’ve won before.” This was not the response the fans expected from the LIV Golf loyalist.

Bryson wants to entertain on the PGA Tour as well
Bryson’s second future goal is filled with uncertainty, and he knows it. He said, “I don’t know how that’s going to happen with everything that’s going on,” but despite that, he did want it to happen.

He said, “I’d love to go provide entertainment on the other side as well,” and that he’d happily play his best game for them just as he does for LIV Golf. DeChambeau wishes to one day play a few tournaments that he holds dear on the PGA Tour. He said, “Hopefully one day get back and play a few tournaments that I love that are near and dear to my heart on the PGA Tour.”

His future goals show that DeChambeau truly believes that eventually the two sides will make peace and work together. But will that be the case? Only time will tell.
