The 150th Open Championship begins on July 14, and the 3-time tournament champion Tiger Woods will take part in it. Since his accident, many in the golf world have little faith in him winning another title, let alone a major. However, the former professional female golfer, Paige Spiranac, doesn’t reciprocate the feeling.

“St. Andrews, the Old Course. Oh! the home of golf!” Spiranac began her Twitter video with excitement as the fourth and final major of the season will start with only hours to go. “And potentially, the home of Tiger Woods’ next major victory,” she stated.

Woods has won fifteen majors throughout his career. He had won his last major in 2019 before he met with the nearly fatal car accident. Although Woods has appeared in two other majors since his accident, he has neither won nor had a good outcome in the tournaments. In the Masters, he played all four rounds and finished at 47 on the leaderboard.

The G.O.A.T. had to withdraw from the PGA Championship because of health issues. Although Spiranac understands he is not in his best health now, she believes he has a shot at winning it.

Paige Spiranac points out why she thinks Tiger Woods can win the 150th Open!

“I’m all in on him this week.” The PointsBet ambassador revealed whom she is betting on winning the Claret Jug.

According to her, the Augusta National was “very hilly and difficult to walk on even if you are in perfect condition and health.” However, since the Old Course has a flat terrain compared to Augusta, she believes he wouldn’t have a problem walking with his leg, which is still recovering from the accident.

“Also it’s about shot shaping here,” Spiranac pointed out another reason in Woods’ favor. Furthermore, she added, “He will be able to hit a ton of stingers, shape shots, and really show off his shot-making ability.”

Additionally, Spiranac stated that since Woods has won at the Old Course before, it will be easy for him to win another. Furthermore, she stated, “at least put some money on him to make the cut.”

Moreover, his second victory at St. Andrews helped him become the youngest and quickest to win all four major championships twice.
