Nelly Korda may have failed to win the season opener at the HGV Tournament of Champions, however, she is darting for better results in 2023. In order to achieve that, passionate training is required, which the Korda sister does immensely. But, one of her recent golfing sessions was hijacked by a reptile, which the LPGA star shared on her Instagram.

While many spectators pay thousands of dollars to watch their favorite golfer play from up close, the Alligators have been the closest observers of the players for many decades. Since most golf clubs in the United States are built on lakes or ponds, the odds of witnessing an Alligator are quite shy.

Though they may be a few feet away from some of the best golfers, the fear of safety still exists. But Nelly Korda is a strong and bold golfer who didn’t shy away from sharing the snapshot of the Alligator.

Not a regular golf session for Nelly Korda

Korda is currently prepping for the 2023 LPGA season at the Concessions Country Club in Florida. However, during her visit to the golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus, she had to encounter an alligator.

The 24-year-old shared a picture on her Instagram story of the beautiful golf club with a view of the lake. She captioned it by writing, “Would you hit?”. While the Alligator was barely visible in the snapshot, many of her Instagram followers responded by stating to hit the golf ball in the water.

Nelly then posted another Instagram story of the same screenshot, but with a different caption.  She pointed an arrow toward the Alligator at the bottom of the picture and wrote, “I’m curious to know if people saw the gator right in front of the tee box?”

According to the former world number one, “Majority of the responses were just about hitting it in the water”. Though viewers on Instagram may have missed the big creature, Korda was fortunate enough to notice it. Perhaps if she didn’t, she would be in a lot more trouble. Thankfully, her strong vision did come in handy.
