‘I’m Doing It for (My Daughter)’: LPGA Mom Paula Creamer Marks Special Return With a Hole-in-One

Paula Creamer is probably one of the really well-known and highly acclaimed golfers in LPGA. The 2010 U.S. Women’s Open champion is most remembered for her remarkable existence and skill in the world of women’s golf. She has recently made a special return.


However, it is important to note that Paula, on her special return, mentioned someone probably even more special to her. But who is this special person after all?

The super lucky person who has been on Creamer’s mind is someone she values probably the most in the entire world. She is none other than her dearest daughter, Hilton Rose Kennedy. Hilton is not even a year old yet and her existence has brought immense happiness into the life of Creamer.

Remembering her daughter, Paula said, “I’m not only (playing) for myself, but I’m doing it for (my daughter),” she said. “To be able to tell her, actually, you were here (for the ace) when I did that. You were at the hotel, but you were physically here. It’s special. I keep thinking that when I’m out here, I just want to show her that you can overcome adversity and everything. Put your mind to it, and you’re strong enough to be able to achieve what you want.”

Paula’s time away from golf

Following Paula’s iconic return, it is understandable if someone wants to know why she went on a break in the first place.

Well, as is well known, Paula had a problem in wrist. Explaining her situation, she said, “This has been kind of a nice break for me and my hand. “But my desire is always to be the best that I can be. Life changes as you get older and your priorities are different, but that competitive nature will be there forever. I love to compete. Taking that away from someone is tough. I love to win, the pressure of it. I got held back a little bit with an injury.
