No publicity is bad publicity, especially for a cordial golfer such as Adam Hadwin.

It hasn’t been a week since the shocking tackle of Adam Hadwin by security personnel at the Canadian Open happened. Everybody, including Adam and his wife Jessica, handled the incident with hilarity and grace. He was also subjected to a prank by the USGA, which he shared on his socials and found amusing. Adam definitely has a great sense of humor and knows how to handle his celebrity status with grace.

On 16th June during the second round of the US Open 2023, fans were eager to watch Adam in his mettle, praying he will make the cut. After all, who doesn’t want to see the beloved golfer in action. However, after a bad shot during gameplay, Adam may have lost his temper and flung his golf club into the bushes nearby.

Andy Johnson, founder of the Fried Eggs, who has often shared many captivating moments from the golfing community, took to Twitter. He once again managed to capture Hadwin’s ‘walk of shame’ for posterity.

Upon regaining himself, Adam brushed off his momentary loss of self-control. As kind and absolutely adorable as he is, Hadwin jumped into the trench, climbed over a slope, and retrieved the club himself. Although this moment may not have been his finest, Adam has always been one to take account of his own actions.

Adam responded with “I didn’t have to, but being the good Canadian kid I am, I didn’t think it was fair to send my caddy.” His riposte was seconded by his wife Jessica Hadwin when a fan tagged her in the video.

A fan also commented on the tweet, taking a jibe at Adam’s expense.

Adam responded to his fan, joining in on the fun, saying, “I’m glad you’re enjoying it.”

Needless to say, Adam calmed down after the event and once again returned to his jovial self.

Not everyone is having the best time at the US Open 2023

Pro golf is no joke. The amount of pressure experienced by the players does take a toll on them, so Adam’s behavior really wasn’t unwarranted. In fact, he may not even have been the first golfer to react this way on this particular day. Jon Rahm also lost his temper and almost snapped his club in half after a bad shot. So did witty, lovable golfer Joel Dahmen who also experienced some setbacks in the last 6 holes.
