Many years ago, during the million-dollar tournament, he had some fun nights with Ian Woosnam and Steve Elkington. They know that the PGA pro was not as wild as titled. “But the people around me, who know me, realise I am not a wild guy. People think I am some kind of crazy, lunatic wild man, but I am not.”

In 2009, Daly stayed in England after they banned him from the PGA tour for six months. He was supposed to tee off in the first round of the European Open at The London Club in Kent. He was banned because he ended up locked up when his alcohol issue spiraled. Earlier, he also broke a fan’s camera. All this was pointing in the direction where he was a hellraiser. The wild thing nickname fits perfectly. However, Daly did not believe himself as a hellraiser and explained the real him.
