Tom Holland once admitted to choosing golf as his favorite sport as it is the only one where he won’t get dangerously injured. But it is not the same for MCU’s new cast, Kathryn Newton, who recently played Cassie Lang in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Qunatumania. Turns out that other than playing Ant-Man’s daughter in the film, Newton also has some crazy skills in golf.

Newton was shown following in her reel father’s footsteps and had a size-tampering suit of her own in the movie. And this has made her one of the most recent superheroes in the Marvel Universe. However, the actor was once on her way to becoming a professional golfer. In an interview, Newton admitted that she has been playing golf since she was eight years old. Moreover, she also had plans to go to the U.S. Women’s Open qualifier back in 2012. But after finding out about her interest in acting, Newton decided to turn golf into a mere hobby.

When IMDB asked her if anyone in the Ant-Man cast had better golfing skills than her, here’s what she said: “Definitely the best golfer in the cast. Absolutely. I might be the best golfer in the MCU. I’m talking to you, Tom Holland.”

Golf fans are completely aware of how much Holland enjoys playing the game. He even played a few shots in his spectacular Spider-Man suit and posted a video of the same. But Kathryn has definitely thrown a serious challenge toward the man. “I hear he’s a very good golfer, so I say that lightly and humbly, but I’m pretty good, so we’ll have to see,” she said, sounding like a real-life superhero!
