Charley Hull makes this young lad’s day with her heartwarming gesture

On Sunday, Hull was competing in the Invitational Pro-Am event at Rochester & Cobham Park Golf Club. Nineteen junior section kids volunteered at the golf club to caddy for free.

Interestingly, the 27-year-old golfer played brilliantly as she shot -2 or -3 to ultimately win £300–400. Despite her hectic schedule, she managed some time to sign some autographs and take some photos with the youngsters that were present there. Furthermore, before leaving the club, she did something special for her young caddie that made his day.

The two-time LPGA Tour champion wrote a message to her team requesting that her prize money be given to her young caddie instead. This brightened the day of the little lad, who will almost certainly use the award money to purchase golf equipment.

Flushing It Golf took to Instagram to share this cute story. They wrote, “This is so cool. Imagine caddying for Charley Hull as a junior and then she tips you her prize money. What a day! 🙌”

Not only the caddie, but also her admirers were pleased with her kind gesture. She seemed to have impressed everyone once again, as she has been doing with her amazing form on the course this year.

A glimpse into Hull’s spectacular form this season

Charley Hull had a decent season this year, although she didn’t happen to grab a win at any of the Majors. While she faced a few setbacks with missed cuts, she delighted her fans with remarkable performances, securing a runner-up finish at the AIG Women’s Open and achieving an impressive T2 position twice this season, including at the US Women’s Open.
