He was the only LIV Golf Pro in the 2023 Ryder Cup, American or otherwise. And now he’s in search of yet another chance to represent his country at the biennial event. Any idea how? Well, he has teed it up at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, hoping for the same. But as Brooks Koepka tries to claim a spot on the team, the focus of the golf world falls on something else entirely: a series of snaps of him and his wife, Jena Sims.

A post was shared on Instagram by an event planner named Sara Renee Lowell on her official handle. It showcased a series of pictures of the two lovebirds during their wedding ceremony in Turks and Caicos. “A little Brooks and Jena to get you through the weekend,” wrote the luxury event designer while tagging the two stars under the post.

Although the two had met back in 2015, at the Masters no less, they had only tied the knot with each other seven years later, back on June 4, 2022. And because of the auspicious occasion, Koepka had even gone ahead to share the pictures four days later with the caption, “Best. Day. of . My. Life.” Looks quite adorable, don’t they?!

Jena Sims had worn a sparkling, jewel-encrusted white gown with a high slit and a flowing train. Later on, she was spotted wearing a short, feathered, beautiful dress for the reception. Brooks Koepka, meanwhile, looked as sharp as ever in a gray suit coupled with a black tie during their vow exchange. He also changed it to a yellow casual shirt to match his wife at the reception. Ahem..talk about the perfect husband!

Their engagement, on the other hand, came a year earlier, on March 3, 2021, when the Koepka asked her to marry him. “I was surprised,” said Jena Sims on her Instagram story back then. “I knew it was coming, just not on that day at that exact moment.” Saying ‘Yes’ sure did turn out for the best for the American actress and the athlete, the latter of whom is currently teeing off at the DPWT ‘back 9’ event.

The golfer will be looking to dish out an even better performance and secure the top spot at the event. By doing so, he can rake in a total of 37.88577 points on the OWGR and increase his ranking on the same. Currently placed at No. 66, he had started the year inside the top-35, at No. 33. However, a series of dismal finishes at the majors failed to help him rise up in the rankings. If he is to claim a spot on the 2025 Ryder Cup team, then Brooks Koepka sure needs to up his game!
