Woods has been putting up his used clubs, bags, and other golf essentials for auction. However, it was recently when the golf legend’s shirt was put up for the same.

Golf memorabilia associated with Woods have been on fire this year. The golf star’s irons were sold for an amazing deal of $5,156,162 at the Golden Age Auctions. It was a record-breaking deal and fans were shocked to know about the price the buyer agreed to pay for it. As per sources, the same auction house is all set to feature the golfer’s memorable red Nike shirt that he wore during the 2010 Masters in the final round at Augusta National.

How much is Woods’ shirt expected to be auctioned for?

According to sources, it is the first time that one of Woods’ red shirts is being auctioned. However, there could be more of them put out in other auctions in the coming future. Ryan Carrey from Golden Age Auctions spoke highly of the shirt and said it is expected to break all previous records. He mentioned, “Game-worn sports memorabilia, especially items photo-matched to a memorable moment or historic event, are setting records all around the world this year.”.

His confidence was enough to make the fans believe that the golfer doesn’t only set records on the field, but also outside it. Without being sure of an actual number, Carrey gave an idea of how much he expected the shirt to go for. “A Tiger Woods tournament-worn shirt has never sold for $100,000. Expect that to change with this shirt,” he said.

The auction is all set to take place on 22 November, and will go on till Saturday 10 December with a starting bid of $5,000. A huge number of people are expected to come in and place bids to get their hands on the exceptional shirt. And looking at the amount fans were ready to pay for Woods’ irons, an even bigger number is expected for the shirt.
