The Solheim Cup loss had broken many hearts, especially of the players since Europe did not win the cup but retained it by tying the event. Both sides gave their level best, but Europeans left the event happier of the two. Under pressure, Nelly Korda found herself striving to push her team and her game.

However, her attempts were unfruitful and the Americans failed to stop the Europeans from retaining the hallowed Cup. Since then, Korda, unlike her teammates, had been out of action.
