Earlier in March, the 47-year-old was struck with a shocking accusation from his former girlfriend, Erica Herman. Woods was taken to court by Herman for an NDA she was forced to sign by the golfer. She currently seeks $30 million in return.

Is Tiger Woods competing at the 2023 Masters?
The first Major of the season is only a few days away. With the conclusion of the PGA Tour’s Valero Texas Open, the list of invitees will also be closed. Though many talented golfers have failed to earn an invite, receiving an Augusta National invitation is the least of an issue for Woods.

The legendary golfer has won the Green Jacket five times in his 27-year-long career. Golfers who win the Masters title earn a lifetime invitation. With five Green Jackets, Tiger Woods is among the Major’s most prominent winners. Nonetheless, the Hall of Famer has bigger problems than the sport this year.

As he faces his ex-girlfriend in court, Tiger hasn’t confirmed his participation at the Masters yet. However, he has changed the picture on the schedule page of his website of him winning the 2019 Masters, indicating to the golf world his participation. Apart from this, Woods is also scheduled for a press conference at Augusta National on Tuesday, almost confirming his participation at the Masters.

Moreover, CBS Golf recently shared a teaser of an interview with Tiger Woods alongside Scottie Scheffler, Trevor Immelman, and Jack Nicklaus. Though the ‘13 Jackets’ discussion may have taken outside of the Augusta National Golf Course, it gave the fans another hint about Woods’ participation in the upcoming Masters.

With the time ticking for the first Major of the season, fans are worried about whether or not Woods’ will be at Augusta National. Nonetheless, even with his return, what are the odds of Tiger winning his sixth Green Jacket next week?

The days when Woods had the body and skillset of winning nearly every Major may have become a thing of the past. While he was heavily the favorite to win a Major back in his prime, currently, he is regarded among the underdogs.

Heading to the 2023 Masters, the odds of Tiger winning his 16th Major title are at 55-1, according to Sportsline. Nonetheless, the 47-year-old has proved plenty of people wrong in the past with his stunning performances. Though it may be hard for him to replicate his 1997 18-under-par performance, Woods may feel inspired by his 2019 Green Jacket win.
