Tiger Woods has once again become the talk of the town! The 48-year-old recently revealed his new brand, Sun Day Red, following his split with Nike. But that’s not all why fans are keenly watching the American golfer. He is also going to start his 2024 PGA Tour season soon, ending the months-long wait for his fans.

The legendary golfer is known for his knack for victory at major events. However, since March 2022, Tiger Woods has also become famous for his private jet, which he landed with at the Augusta Nationals. And in a true Woods-like fashion, the private jet has the registration number N517TW, with TW most probably meaning his name.

Fortunately for his fans, this registration number makes it easy to track the whereabouts of his private jet. According to flight tracking sites, the private jet of the 48-year-old was not present at the Riviera Country Club at the time of writing. However, there is a high probability his jet will be present there.

He would most likely take the jet there since it would allow him to travel comfortably and reach his destination easily. Like he has done in the past, in 2022, he can do the whole process again. And his private jet is a luxurious one too!

The golfer’s private jet is a Gulfstream G5 airplane. It has a total capacity of 19 passengers or 6,200 pounds. This high-end, comfortable rife does not come cheap, as it costs around $45 million! There are multiple variants of this model, but the American golfer picked one with aerodynamic and engine improvements.

The jet uses two Rolls-Royce BR710 C4-11 turbofan engines, which reach a high speed of 0.85 Mach at 41,000 ft. So, it would take approximately 3 hours and 42 minutes to fly from Jupiter Islands, Florida, to Riviera Country Club at a speed of 0.85 Mach. This means the 48-year-old can make a same-day journey to the venue.

Whether or not Tiger Woods arrives in his jet, a couple of things are certain. That is the legendary golfer will tee off at the 2024 Genesis Invitational and would be sighted in his new apparel. This year, he will try to end the drought of Sunday wins, starting at the Genesis.
