2023 ISPS Handa Championship: Prize Money Breakdown and Winner’s Payout

DP World Tour, season 2023, moves to Japan with the ISPS Handa Championship. The event is to be played at PGM Ishioka Golf Club in Omitama, Japan. Some of the best players such as Robert MacIntyre, Jordan Smith, Ernie Els, and more will be seen competing for the championship title on the course. This event is the seventeenth event of the year in the tournament and the fourth one to be organized in Asia. The total purse of the ISPS Handa Championship is $2 Million. 

Other than the money, what will the winner hope to grab?

There are many other things on the line other than hefty paychecks. The winner will be getting other perks and benefits such as a hike in OWGR ratings, Race to Dubai points, and much more.

According to Golf News Net, A total of 16 Official World Golf Ranking points will be awarded to the winner. Additionally, winning provides significant benefits such as a European Tour exemption lasting two or more seasons, and entry into important events.

The full field has the opportunity to earn a total of 2,750 Race to Dubai points. The points on offer are based on the tournament purse quoted in United States dollars (USD).

The winner is awarded 460 Race to Dubai points, and the player with the highest season-long Race to Dubai points at the end of the tournament becomes the winner of the Race to Dubai, receiving the first-place prize. The top eight players in the Race to Dubai standings by the end of the season will receive payment from the €6 million Race to Dubai bonus pool.

From the total purse of $2 Million, the winner will get a 17% payout according to the distribution norms. The breakdown of the ISPS Handa Championship purse is as follows:
