This was a massive shock to all his fans as Mickelson’s kids were part of the college program of the ringleader, William Singer. As his family was caught in the scandal and was being questioned, he was deeply affected by it. As a father, he did not like his kids being questioned by the authorities for something they didn’t even do. He said, “I’m used to taking hits, but it hurts when you have your kids being questioned.”
However, as a strong father, he said they would be okay, eventually. Mickelson’s oldest daughter Amanda was a sophomore at Brown University then, and two other kids were sophomore and junior in high school.

According to the former PGA member, many other families who were being tied were also not part of it. All the information he got about the company’s cheating was the same way any other resident of the country was receiving it.

William Singer was mostly off-stage before he admitted that he was cheating on tests and bribing college coaches to get students accepted into elite schools.
Since Mickelson’s kids were also part of Singer’s college program, he was caught in trouble, too. But thankfully, things were sorted, thus saving Mickelson from going to jail unlike Singer’s other former clients who ended up behind bars.
