Hence, his fans as well as other golfers have huge respect for the golf legend. And so does his ex-girlfriend Lindsey Vonn, who opened up about her dynamic with the golfer in a recent interview.

The former Olympic skier was in an interview where she talked about her career success, the tough times she faced, and of course, her famous relationship with Tiger Woods. And during the conversation, she didn’t hesitate to speak about how she felt about the golfer currently. Even after their sudden split, Vonn explained that the two are still friends.

“We are friends and, of course, I’m happy that he is back and healthy,” Vonn said after Woods’ unfortunate car crash. “And, you know, it was a tough time for him. So I am just happy that he is back with his kids.” When asked about her breakup with Woods, Vonn said it is very difficult for her to date a celebrity being one herself. She also said that she now prefers keeping her personal life private.

Why did Woods and Vonn break up?

Woods and Vonn dated for almost 3 years before they decided to part ways in May 2015. And since they were both famous and had been open about their relationship with the fans, they decided to break the news to them.

Vonn disclosed her side of the story through Facebook and said, “Tiger and I have mutually decided to end our relationship…Unfortunately, we both lead incredibly hectic lives that force us to spend a majority of our time apart.” Woods also spoke similarly and stated that she had always been important to him and his kids. But due to their hectic schedules, the two could not spend enough time to keep the relationship going.
