It’s not a secret that Paige Spiranac trolls herself more than anyone else in the world of sports. That is saying something, as she is known for her making quirky and funny comments about almost all sports entities. 

The golf influencer often shares tales from her life with millions of her loyal fans. While some of them are serious, like her struggles with mental health issues, Spiranac knows her fans also enjoy hearing her blooper moments too. And the recent story she shared on her Instagram Story could only be for the audience who loves the latter type of content from her.

Paige Spiranac found herself in an embarrassing position

If anything, everyone knows Paige Spiranac is not a person who gets embarrassed easily. Sharing her mental traumas and incidents from her childhood and college days on her Playing a Round podcast are examples of it. Yet, the Colorado native revealed she experienced the most shameful moment in her golfing career recently on Instagram.  

“I have a funny story for you guys,” the ex-pro golfer said as she narrated the story. According to her, she went to the Chicago Golf Show, which was held from February 24 to 26. “I had to do a clinic with XGolf where I just hit some shots and kind of just talked about my pre-shot routine,” she explained. 

Spiranac explained that her first day went without any issues. However, such was not the case on Sunday. “The hard thing with the simulator is that you can see exactly what the ball’s doing,” she explained before getting into the juicy part of the story. “… very first shot, I cold shanked it,” she added.

The golf beauty found the incident funny and couldn’t restrain herself from laughing. However, it didn’t make it less embarrassing. “It was the most embarrassing thing that ever happened to me,” she revealed. “Oh my gosh, it was brutal,” she added.

Was Spiranac good at playing golf when she was a professional? 

After ditching gymnastics due to injuries, it took no time for Spiranac to choose golf as her main sport when she was young. While she played well and won many accolades, the same was not the case with her professional career. 

With only a win on the Cactus Tour and lots of mental trauma, Maxim’s Sexiest Woman Alive retired from the sport and chose to be a social media influencer instead. Luckily, she could showcase her golfing ability to many professional sports entities, including golfers, since then.
