Where did Cheyenne Woods end up?
Cheyenne turned pro in 2012, but a year later, she wanted to pay heed to her interest. She was interested in broadcasting and was working for channel Back9 in 2013. However, to her surprise, the pro golfer ended up in the press conference of the US Open. And to a bigger surprise, she was questioning her uncle and 15 times major championship winner, Woods.

But that was not the twist. First, she was shocked to be part of the press conference. And second, the golfer was She was astonished that she was the only female journalist there. Cheyenne said, “I was the only female journalist. It was intimidating. I mean, it was. Having all the men fill the room.” Even though the room was full of all the professional journalists, the LPGA golfer was intimated by the situation. All men in the space surrounded her.

The connection of Cheyenne with Woods was already making headlines. The press conference of 2013 was an add-on to the list. However, what struck her most was that she didn’t see many female journalists covering the sport. However, she was happy to be part of it as she got to experience it.
“I mean I’m a golfer, I know golf so I had a little bit of confidence in my questions,” said Cheyenne. The questions from her were wrapped in confidence because she already knew golf. Therefore, as the only female journalist there, she knew the questions she was asking wouldn’t be harmful.
