Phil Mickelson’s views about Bryson DeChambeau’s famous feud with Brooks Koepka

Mickelson along with Koepka and DeChambeau is currently playing in the new LIV Golf league. However, it was not long ago when all three of them used to play on the PGA Tour. And everyone is aware of the never-ending fight between golf hulk, Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka.

But there was a time when Mickelson was asked to give his opinions about the same. In an episode of “The Pat McAfee Show”, Lefty expressed his opinion about the ongoing banter between the two golf stars and how it was affecting the game of golf. “I think it’s brilliant for golf,” Mickelson said“I like and respect both players very much and I think that it is something that has helped golf transcend outside of just the golf page”.

According to the golf legend, the feud between Koepka and DeChambeau was one of the biggest reasons of bringing fame to golf. He also said that the fight had benefited both the players as well as the game. “A lot of storylines, a lot of interest, I think it’s been fabulous,” he added.

Why did Phil Mickelson leave the PGA Tour?

After all the controversial statements he made about the PGA Tour, it was clear that the golfer is not planning to come back. According to the golfer, joining the LIV Golf league was a fresh start for him. He said that the progressive format of the new league was going to be exciting for the fans. However, there have been close to no spectators in the last few tournaments of LIV Golf.

Mickelson also thanked the PGA Tour for giving him everything he had but still moved to the new circuit. With a $200 million contract, Mickelson is very happy on the Saudi-backed tour. And following him were Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Koepka, and many more players who left the PGA Tour to join LIV Golf.
