Jon Rahm is one of the greatest players of the modern era. Before joining LIV Golf, he has placed in the top 10 at Augusta National for five of the last six years. He also won his second major championship in The Masters 2023, defeating Phil Mickelson and Brooks Koepka by a margin of four shots.

Since joining LIV Golf, Jon Rahm has been playing at an incredible level. The Spaniard has regularly competed in the events of the new circuit backed by Saudi Arabia. His outstanding results, meanwhile, haven’t done much to appease LIV Golf’s detractors and supporters.

There was a recent post on X, where a golf page run by Mike McAllister wrote about Rahm’s performance. It was a post showing Jon Rahm’s recent form, consistently placing in the top 10. Golf fans unleashed a barrage of criticism and critical remarks in response to the post showcasing Rahm’s outstanding performance.

In Adelaide, he tied for third place, showcasing his consistency. Rahm’s performance on LIV Golf showed incredible consistency. Rahm, though, was unable to win a single tournament hands-down. His lack of success gave his detractors something to point the finger at.

Fans roast Jon Rahm for 0 wins

Jon Rahm is one of the best players in the world, yet he hasn’t won an individual championship on the LIV Golf Tour. One fan bluntly expressed the scenario by commenting, “How many wins?” The answer to this straightforward question is obvious. Despite Rahm’s continuously strong finishes, he hasn’t been able to break through and enter the winner’s circle.

Numerous critics have been eager to draw attention to the LIV tour’s alleged lack of competitive competition. One fan sarcastically said, “Literally playing against 10 guys and you are counting top 10.” According to their point of view, Rahm’s impressive performances are exaggerated since the field is smaller than it is on the PGA Tour.

Another fan echoed this sentiment and claimed, “he plays against about 10 guys who are even close to his level. The other 40 are has-beens, never-weres, and never will be.” He added, “he’s probably the second-best player in the world, but he’s not going to stay there playing on LIV.” It’s commonly believed among LIV’s critics that the players on the circuit are lesser talents and fading stars who can’t compete with top players like Rahm.

Finally, a fan noted that Rahm’s poor performance in the Masters served as evidence against his inflated status, writing, “Big stat 0 wins and T45 +9 at the Masters.” His lackluster display in a major golf tournament was utilized as proof to counter his LIV scores.

Rahm has turned into a lightning rod, infuriating PGA Tour supporters despite his incredible stats. Many people’s perceptions of his enormous talents have changed after his jump to LIV. Fair or not, Rahm will probably need to start accumulating LIV victories in order to appease his detractors and win back the respect of the supporters. His outstanding performance hasn’t won him much affection from the people who earlier applauded his achievement for the time being.
