The FIFA World Cup begins on Sunday, 20th November. Along with Qatar, the hosting country, soccer fans are excited for the event to begin. Different internet influencers also started to post videos clearly displaying their excitement on every social platform. However, golf influencer, Paige Spiranac, doesn’t feel the same, and she has a reason for it. 

The former professional golfer recently uploaded a video on her social channel regarding Team USA’s appearance at the upcoming world cup. While she didn’t mention any issues regarding the selection of the players included in the team, Spiranac expressed her concern regarding their jerseys. 

Notably, the team has upgraded their jerseys for this year from last year. Although all three jerseys have different designs, ex pro golfer didn’t like the white one in particular. 

Paige Spiranac found the new Team USA jersey boring

Spiranac recently uploaded a video on Twitter, partnered with her sponsor, PointsBet, in which she revealed her opinion about the new white jersey design of Team USA. 

“A lot of people here are very disappointed because they think it’s quite boring. And honestly, I have to agree.” The Colorado native didn’t hesitate a moment to disclose her take on the jersey. “What is this?” the fashion icon of golf couldn’t help but raise a question to the officials responsible for it.

Notably, the white jersey that the team will wear in this world cup is just an upgraded version of their 2021 Nike international white ones. They have only made small changes to the jersey. These include changing the position of the team emblem from the left-hand corner to the center and removing the Nike logo altogether from the center. 

Her followers, who usually agree with her, have a mixed reaction this time

In her video, Spiranac revealed the “Waldo kits” as her all-time favorite US soccer team jerseys. Most of her followers agreed with her choice. 

While many shared that they, too, found the white jersey boring, some didn’t have the same opinion. They believed that playing a good game is what mattered, not what they were wearing. 

USA is playing in Group B at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, and their opponents are England, Iran, and Wales. Notably, Defender DeAndre Yedlin is the only world cup veteran playing this year.
