Paige Spiranac is a former professional golfer turned social media influencer with more than 3 million followers on Instagram. However, because of her rising popularity, the 29-year-old often falls victim of identity theft.
Many use Spiranac’s name to create bogus profiles on different social media platforms. Furthermore, the fraudsters trick people and scam them in various ways. Recently, the golfer used Twitter to acknowledge the matter when a Twitter user brought it to her notice.

“Honestly it’s getting so frustrating these keep popping up and very scary for safety reasons,” Spiranac commented on the post. “It’s sad guys actually fall for this,” she added. “And then threaten me because they think I’ve scammed them.”
Interestingly, Steven Tinoco once previously tweeted his Instagram conversation with one of the golfer’s imposters. The former baseball player is Spiranac’s ex-husband.
