The move of Bryson DeChambeau to LIV Golf brought shock waves to everyone in the world of Golf. He finally gave his first press conference as a LIV Golf player ahead of the second LIV Golf tournament, where DeChambeau discussed more about his “business decision”.
LIV Golf is set to have its first event in the USA. The event is set to take place at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club just outside of Portland, where the 28-year-old will participate in his first LIV Golf event.

Bryson DeChambeau’s 2022 season wasn’t a one to remember after he injured his left hand. Though DeChambeau completed the surgery and is back on the Golf course, he is yet to make a significant impact.
DeChambeau’s comments
It was evident that DeChambeau would be flooded with questions about why he joined the Saudi-backed Golf Tour. But the 2020 U.S. Open Champion was ready to face his critics.
DeChambeau started by saying, “It came to a place where the pros outweighed the cons heavily on our end, or, at least, on my end.” He further added, “And we made that decision for the future. That was the decision I made. And I think a lot of us have made. Not only that, but to innovate. I’ve always been an innovator, I’ve always liked to do things a little differently.”

Bryson DeChambeau talked about his excitement about joining the LIV Golf. He said, “Being a part of something special and unique and different with a team atmosphere is really cool.” The 28-year-old also revealed he tried to get on the PGA Tour’s Player Advisory Council.

Bryson DeChambeau is one of golf’s biggest names. It was reported that DeChambeau signed a nearly $100 million guaranteed worth contract.
While talking about how he will utilize his earnings, DeChambeau spoke about his business mentality and his goal to use the funds to support the people in his California homeland and Dallas, where he presently resides, as well as to develop a multi-sport complex.
‘The Scientist’ talked about how the schedule allows him the option to take breaks and pursue his own YouTube video creation chances. He also emphasized how he wants to use the money for good.
