Jack Nicklaus, 82, Celebrates Tiger Woods’ Hall of Fame Induction With a Beautiful Message

The World Golf Hall of Fame ceremony is finally over. The ceremony witnessed the induction of four professionals into the hall of fame. Among the inductees, probably the prominent name was Tiger Woods. Moreover, after Woods’ induction, a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame, Jack Nicklaus wrote a heartening message for him.

Eldrick Woods was formally inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame on March 9th at the PGA Tour headquarters. Woods was introduced into the Hall of Fame by his daughter Sam in a very emotional introductory speech. After his induction into the Hall of Fame, ‘The Golden Bear’ shared a beautiful congratulatory message on his Twitter for Woods.
Nicklaus wrote, “I have known Tiger Woods since he was about 13 years old when, during a clinic I was giving at Bel-Air Country Club in Los Angeles, I first saw this slender teenager display some of the promise that manifested into 15 majors.”

He added, “Tiger, my friend, you absolutely earned a spot in the Hall of Fame and deserve to be celebrated for all you have accomplished in the game and all you have given to this game!” Jack’s words truly speak for his love for Tiger and his respect for him.
Tiger Woods’ first major win
Tiger won his first major championship back in 1997. The 46-year-old professional won the 1997 Masters at Augusta. He won the event with an overall score of 18-under-par, as a result, won with a 12 shot lead. He also won prize money worth $486,000. Woods carded a final round of 69, three under par on his route to victory. This was his first green jacket and the start of many more to come.
