A 150-golfer field will compete for the $2 million pool. The format follows the traditional stroke play over four rounds of 18 holes each. A cut after 36 holes or the first two rounds will give the top 65 pros plus ties, who will compete in the last two rounds for the $2 million prize money. The golfer who finishes at the top of the leaderboard will take home $360,000, followed by $220,000 and $126,000 for the second and third positions, respectively.
Here’s the payout for the Jakarta International Championship:

Top golfers to follow in the Jakarta International Championship
The Jakarta International Championship field includes 150 golfers. Many prominent names from the Asian Tour will participate in the inaugural event.
Kazuki Higa is one of the top contenders to follow. He topped the Japan Tour Money List in 2022 with four victories. The Japanese golfer played his first full Asian Tour in 2024 and finished 32nd on the Merit list. However, it was in September 2025 that he established himself on the international stage with two back-to-back Asian Tour wins. He clinched the Shinhan Donghae Open in Korea and then the Yeangder TPC in Chinese-Taipei to rise to the top of the Order of Merit for the first time in his career.
Another top contender is Scott Vincent, who earned his tour card in 2016 and established himself by finishing 5th on the Asian Tour Order of Merit in 2018. Scott won the recently completed International Series Morocco.

The Mexican golfer, Carlos Ortiz, is also a big name, ranking 3rd on the Asian Tour Order of Merit. Carlos has two wins under his belt, the 2024 International Series Oman and the 2025 International Series Macau presented by Wynn. Additionally, he is one of the few Asian Tour golfers to have won a PGA Tour event, which he achieved by winning the 2020 Vivint Houston Open.
With so many popular names on the list, it will be exciting to see who claims the inaugural Jakarta International Championship and walks home with $360,000.
