After joining LIV Golf Brooks Koepka hit the jackpot and his bank statement skyrocketed. Koepka was already doing well for himself on the PGA Tour, however on LIV everything got better for him. And as a silver lining, he also got to play with his little brother in the same team for almost two years. Chase Koepka played in Smash GC. under the leadership of his brother for 18 months.

But despite that, he couldn’t do well. As a result, he was among those named who were relegated from the Saudi Tour after the season was over. And now Brooks Koepka has added a new teammate to fill the void left by his brother. But his wife Jena Sims is one step ahead in the matter.

Jena Sims steals Brooks Koepka’s thunder in welcoming a new Smash GC member

The Koepka siblings are a talented set of golfers. Junior Koepka who was playing mini-tour golf 18 months ago joined hands with his elder brother a year and a half ago. But he failed to fend well for himself and as a result had to wash off his hands from his positions. Before he was relegated Chase accepted the brutal reality early. In an interview, Chase Koepka accepted the situation and stated, “It’s my own fault for putting myself in this position. All I can do is try to play well. It hasn’t gone very well for me at all this year.” 

Chase Koepka’s position in the Smash GC squad is being filled by Graeme McDowell. McDowell is the 2010 U.S. Open champion. After joining LIV he was playing in Cleeks GC under the captaincy of Martin Kaymer. He earlier played on the DP World Tour.

McDowell’s addition to the team was not only celebrated by Koepka but also by his Mrs Jena Sims who shared the news with a funny take. Resharing the Smash GC story of Graeme McDowell on her Instagram, Sims wrote, “Can’t wait!!! Mostly excited because his wife is cool as” After writing the said line she shared two emojis as well,

Sims went on to add a few more lines to her story in which she apologized to McDowell for taking a little liberty at his expense and for having some fun. Meanwhile, Koepka has done what’s best for his team.

Brooks Koepka has teamed up with Graeme McDowell and with him, Koepka wishes to take the team to new heights. A very happy McDowell announced the news on social media himself. But Ms Sims is also not much behind in the welcoming game.
