“I feel great. I haven’t won in a while. I’ve had a lot of close calls, but it’s really hard to win that on the LPGA tour these days,” Jessica Korda said. According to her, the victory became even more special as it was witnessed live by her parents Regina Rajchrtová and Petr Korda, who are retired, professional tennis players. “They’ve watched me win in junior golf, but never as a professional. So to have them there playing the final round with my sister was really cool,” Korda said.

Talking about her victory, she discussed the sturdy bond she shares with her sister. Jessica revealed that people always try to “pit” them against each other. However, they make sure they disappoint everyone by showing how supportive they are towards each other. “If the other one is struggling with something, the other one’s always there to help,” she said. “We basically just help each other out as much as we can.” Although she talked about their supportive sides for each other, she also claimed that they still want to beat each other in tournaments.

What do the Korda sisters do off the course?

During the conversation, Jessica Korda revealed how she and her sister spend their time off the course. Keeping in mind their golfing skills, fans might assume that the two might talk about the sport all the time. However, Korda cleared the air about it and said that they talk “very little about golf.” She said“My sister is my best friend and when we’re away from the golf course, we just talk normally. We talk about shopping.”

According to GolfDigest, the Korda sisters belong to “golf’s most athletic family”. And the sisters are not the only ones blessed with a love for sports. Other than their ex-tennis professional parents, their brother Sebastian Korda is a well-known tennis player who won the 2018 Australian Open Junior title.
