The golf world can’t wait for the end of September. With each passing day, the anticipation for the upcoming Ryder Cup is getting higher and higher. Now that we know who is on the US and European teams, the fierce competition between the two teams is up for sure at Marco Simone Golf and Country Club in Rome.

Now that the trip is about to be over, the team had dinner together. But the veteran Ryder Cup warrior is stealing all the limelight from the Ryder Cup squad!

The US team is comprised of many of the best young golfers, including Brooks Koepka and Justin Thomas. But Ryder Cup vice captain Jim Furyk is no stranger to the Ryder Cup. In fact, he’s actually one of the most skilled American golfers in the history of the biennial event.

His most notable Ryder Cup moment was the ”Battle of Brookline”, the 33rd Ryder Cup in 1999. Furyk’s singles-winning matches against Sergio Garcia took the US team to a 14-12 lead.

And now the 2003 US Open winner is ready for the upcoming competition. Ryder Cup USA posted a picture of the whole squad on Instagram, and Furyk is wearing his outfit from the 1999 Ryder Cup. The post was captioned: ”An amazing meal in Rome to close out an unforgettable trip 🙏 (& a 🔥 @jim_furyk fit 👀)”.

The golfers like Dustin Johnson, Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods missed out on this year’s Ryder Cup truly saddened many fans. One wrote: ”This room is really missing Tiger and Phil” while other penned down: ”Not seeing dj there is really frustrating”
