Jin Young Ko WITB 2023: All You Need Know About Her Insane Golf Equipment

The LPGA schedule has entered its fall season. Currently, the tour is organizing four events in Asia, and their latest location is Kuala Lumpur Country Club- West Course. The competition kicked off on October 25 and will finish on October 29. All the best golfers worldwide have reached the location to contest for the whopping purse of $3 million. 

Jin Young Ko is currently sitting at T21 on the leaderboard and has been striving to win the LPGA title amid the unsettling weather. Let’s take a look at the equipment she is using for the event!

Jin Young Ko’s arsenal

Jin Young Ko is one of the prominent golfers on the LPGA circuit. She is currently sitting in the third position in the Women’s World Golf Rankings. This year, the star golfer had five best-ten finishes. Out of which, one was the LPGA major, the Chevron Championship, which took place at the Club of Carlton Woods. 

Young Ko had a position of T9 over there. This year, she also bagged an LPGA win at Sentosa Golf Club with a score of 17-under 271. But that was back in March. Currently, she is buckling up for another triumph. As she plays in Malaysia, which clubs are assisting her with the game?

As per reports, her bag has stayed the same since last year. For the driver, she is carrying a Titleist TSi3. In the woods, she is using Callaway Epic Flash Sub Zero. For irons, she has Bridgestone Tour prototypes in her bag. Also, these irons have a steel fiber proto shaft. In the wedges, she is carrying Ping Glide Forged.

Added to these, she also has Titleist TSi2. For the putter, Young Ko has the Scotty Cameron Phantom X 5.5. Lastly, for the golf ball, she uses a Titleist Pro V1. Now that we know what she’s got in her bag, let’s look at her performance in Malaysia.

In the opening round of the event, Jin Young Ko garnered six birdies. But she also had one unsuccessful bogey and a double bogey, which dropped her score to 69 at the end. Moving to the next round, she bagged five birdies on holes 3, 5, 9, 14, and 17. Thus, sealing her score at 70.

In yesterday’s match, she had successfully putt six birdies. Her third-round score was 69 and her total is 208. We’ll have to wait and see if her clubs stand by her for another LPGA win.
