Joel Dahmen carries his “baby” in the bag
The bag of 2x PGA Tour winner has variety as he carries two different brands. For Driver, Dahmen uses PING G400 with 8.5 degrees of loft and Mitsubishi KuroKage TX shaft. The driver allows better workability with increased speed and distance as compared to his previous driver, G425 LST, which provided maximum spin and average launch.
The driver goes for $289.99. You will find PING G410 with 17.5 degrees of loft as the fairway 3-wood in Dahmen’s bag. It has enhanced MOI and promises higher speed with maximum stability and forgiveness. The Fairway Wood retails for $249.
Found on his bag is “My baby”, as he calls the PING Answer (20 degrees loft) with PING ANSWER Tour Only Shaft 80X. Dahmen has chosen a hybrid instead of a 5-wood as it has CG forward in the head and gives optimized launch and optimal spin.

It is the #4 most popular hybrid on the Tour and is used by Phil Mickelson and Matt Kuchar. The hybrid goes for $229. Moving to Irons and the rest of the equipment, Dahmen has chosen PXG. He revealed the reason behind it and said, “Consistency is the key to my game and PXG clubs deliver exactly that.”

Iron, wedges, and more
Dahmen uses the PXG 0311T irons 4i – W with Dynamic Gold X100 shaft. The irons go from 4 irons to a pitching wedge. The smaller head shape gives average forgiveness and maximum workability. For Wedges, he uses Sugar Daddy II milled wedges with 50, 56, and 60 degrees of loft.

Dahmen stuck with PXG for the putter, as he uses PXG Prototype, which is rarely used by PGA Tour pros and yet is on the bag of Dahmen. With all his necessary equipment, Dahmen will be seen on the greens of Tiburon, Florida for the first-ever mixed game in the last two decades.
