Being a father is probably special as winning major championship events. The golf legend John Daly, famous for hitting the golf ball miles down the fairway, is fortunate to be a father to three. The 56-year-old recently spoke a few beautiful words for his children.

The two-time major championship winner is among the renowned name in golf. Maybe he is more famous for doing off-the-course than playing competitive golf. Apart from being a five-time PGA Tour winner, the American professional is also a father to three lovely kids. His three children include John Patrick Daly II, Sierra Lynn Daly, and Shynah Hale Daly.

Shynah is the eldest of all the three and was born on 10th June 1992. Followed by Sierra, born on 1st June 1995, and the youngest of them all, Little John, was born on 23rd July 2003.

The youngest of all three kids Little John played golf with his father at the PNC Championship several times. The duo even won the event in 2020, and Daly’s son even plays college golf for John’s alma mater Arkansas. It seems he is following in his father’s footsteps.

The 1991 PGA Championship winner recently spoke and admired all of his three kids in a Youtube video. PGA Memes uploaded it, and in the particular video, John gave a tour of his Arkansas home to the host.

Long John said, “All my kids have just been outstanding.  Shynah is a hell of a photographer she ran my shop for a lot of years. She wanted to move on and be a photographer. Sierra is down Hotspring selling Insurance. She is going great and Little John’s got the passion for it.

 He added, ” He wants to redshirt, that’s great concentrate on golf and concentrate on the school and play all the tournaments that you can in the summer, he wants a degree. That makes me even more proud.”

Daly’s words prove the amount of love and admiration he has for all his children. At the same time, it also shows how proud Long John is of all of their achievements. It’s lovely to see the bond he has with his kids.

What did John Daly shoot in the opening round at the Insperity invitational?

Long John made a solid start to the 2022 Insperity Invitational. The 56-year-old professional ended the second round with an overall score of one-under-par for the event. He carded even-par 72 on Saturday. Daly is 11 shots back from the leaders on the top of the leaderboard.

His second-round included two birdies and one bogey on the opening nine holes. As a result, John moved out in one-under-par, 35. He made two birdies and three bogeys on the back nine to wrap up his round.
