John Daly is one of the most prominent golfers on the PGA Tour. Moreover, Daly is an open book and doesn’t shy away from speaking his heart out in any situation. He has been the same person since the start of his professional career. Therefore, everyone was waiting for his views on the ongoing war between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf.
“Honestly, I’ve just been staying out of it,” said Daly. “I’m too old to even worry about it. They’re not gonna call me. But the one thing I can say is I think some guys should do it, and some guys, I think if they want to do it, do it,” believes Daly. Furthermore, he also said that he is not against LIV Golf or PGA Tour.

“So it’s supposed to be the tour works for us. But I’m kind of leaning like, well, maybe Jay thinks we’re working for him, and I don’t want to make him mad or anything, but I wish they would come together,” revealed Daly. So John Daly wants both of the tours to work together.

John Daly is 56 years old and mostly competes on the PGA Tour Champions, the Senior PGA Tour. But he has raised questions like, if the European Tour came up with something similar, would they go against them? Furthermore, he believes all the non-golf criticism on both tours should stop.

Meanwhile, talking about whether he will stay with the PGA Tour or shift to LIV Golf, Daly said, “I’m gonna stay on the PGA Tour. I’m older, I love the guys on the Champions Tour, I wish we played faster. But that’s my home. That’s my tour,” revealed Long John.
To conclude, Daly said he won’t criticize LIV Golf or the PGA Tour. He believes golf is a beautiful and competitive game that will reach greater heights if they can work together. Therefore, the two-time major championship winner took a neutral stance. He avoided criticizing LIV Golf or the PGA Tour. But he has clarified that he will stay loyal to the PGA Tour.
