It is not new for sports entities to get endorsement deals from sponsors. However, mostly the top players get to have their own exclusive line in a brand. John Daly, the 56-year-old former PGA Championship winner has also finally made his signature apparel.

SQAIRZ announced the delightful news that John Daly has partnered with them to create his signature shoes. According to the post the team shared online, it is named The John Daly Redneck shoe.

“John Daly is one of a kind,” the caption on the Instagram post on the official SQAIRZ page read. “John wanted to pay homage in a shoe design that was representative of his casual, fun loving, easy going southern lifestyle, which he refers to as being a ‘Redneck.”

SQAIRZ is a golf shoe brand that designs shoes that provide more speed, distance, balance, and stability for a golfer. The golfer and the brand partnered to work together in March 2021. Known for his long drives, Daly is the perfect match for the brand to promote the shoes that cover more distance.

Turned professional in 1987, the golfer has once admitted he covered 806 yards through his power hitting. Although it is an impressive feat, there is no record for that. However, his ability to cover the distance is no joke, as he used to be the longest hitter from 1992 to 2002.

Therefore, a brand that concentrates on designing a shoe that covers more distance, SQAIRZ can’t get a much more perfect ambassador than Daly. Apart from the 2-time major winner, Sir Nick Faldo is also their ambassador.

John Daly won a championship wearing the SQAIRZ!

Daly and his son John Patrick Daly won the 2021 PNC Championship in December. The founder of the shoe brand, Robert Winskowicz, congratulated the duo for winning the event.

“What made this event extra special was seeing John and his son John II in the winner’s circle,” stated Winskowicz. “…with their 27 under par two-day total and setting a new PNC record.”
