He married Dale Crafton in 1987, a model who hailed from a wealthy family in Arkansas. However, they got divorced in 1990, a year before Daly won the PGA Championship, the victory that thrust him into the limelight.

A couple of months after his first divorce, he met Bettye Fulford and married her in early 1992. A couple of months later, he was charged with third-degree assault for throwing her into a wall in their home. However, as the exact circumstances remained clouded and Bettye did not wish to pursue the matter further, the charges were dropped. In 1995, no sooner than the pair separated, he got married to Paulette Dean.
