In an interview with Pat McAfee, in The PatMcAfeeShow, the entrepreneur probed the golfer regarding the exact amount that he signed up for. However, the 2X major winner did not give any clue as to the same. And, as for why, the 29-year-old decided to confess the reason for the unrevealed status.

Responding to the host’s probe, the 11X PGA Tour champ said, “The best thing about not saying anything is watching people go wild about what it may or may not be.” Well, he’s not wrong since the golf world is currently filled with the news of the current world No.3 jumping ships.

Earlier, in the interview, the pro had even divulged the other details behind the agreement. Despite keeping mum on the exact number, the Spaniard had confessed to the importance of money in his decision.

A while after signing the agreement to play on the PIF-funded circuit, the golfer disclosed the reason as to why he jumped. And while doing so, he mentioned how his agent handled the deal for him. Moreover, when the talk came to the money, he said, “Listen, obviously, the money is very, very nice,” all the while making a brutal confession about the motive behind the shift.
