December 2021 was a game-changing year for 12-year-old Charlie Woods. Although he shares genes with the legendary Tiger Woods, the man who changed the face of golf and propelled it to a global level, Charlie’s skills at such a young age have won the hearts of the golf community. Since his second appearance on the PNC Championship last year, many professionals have lauded him for his skills and lately, Jon Rahm joined the list.

Rahm has been out of the spotlight and on a break for quite some time now. In need of some time to rejuvenate after a stressful and dramatic year, he announced a break for himself. He is, of course, less than a year old at the moment, but it’s never too soon to plan for your children, is it?

In conversation about Charlie, Rahm had very little, yet meaningful stuff, to say. “He’s got a lot of talent. Certainly a lot more than I did at the age of 12, “ he laughs. He added his own little prediction for the youngster and said, “If he keeps working hard- which I’m sure he will- I wouldn’t doubt one second we’ll see him one day maybe sitting here.”
