Jordan Spieth Led the PGA Tour in This Putting Stat Last Season

This past year was a success for many PGA Tour icons. One of those icons is Jordan Spieth, who took home one win and multiple top-ten finishes, not including Team USA’s iconic Ryder Cup victory. Of course, Spieth has already created his mark as one of the best golfers out there, his game and skill widely recognized.

Having said that, the game of golf is a mix of various skills; one of them being putting. Spieth’s putting has always been complimented, many trying to break down the move over the years.

In a recent post, PGA Tour chose to highlight Spieth’s putting prowess by sharing an interesting stat with fans.

PGA Tour shares iconic Jordan Spieth putting stat with fans

As 2021 has come to an end, the PGA Tour shared a few stats on social media. The data looked back at a player’s 2021, a specific look into their game. For Spieth, the PGA Tour shared detail about his putting record. The 28-year-old is apparently the first in putting from 20 to 25 feet, making 20.78% of those shots in 2021.

@JordanSpieth found it with the flatstick,” PGA Tour wrote on Instagram as fans reacted on social media. They also attached a bunch of videos to the post, which featured Spieth’s various putts in 2021. Spieth’s form was immediately appreciated online, many were impressed with how easily he pulled off all his putts. 

Fans marvel at the amazing Spieth putting stat

“Magical. I could watch this all day,” one person wrote while referring to the putts, while many acknowledged how ‘ridiculous’ Spieth’s stat was. Some loyal fans even referred to him as the greatest of all time, most users agreeing that what Spieth does is not possible easily.

“So happy to see this again…love when Jordan is playing,” shared another fan, others agreeing.

Stat or not, Spieth is easily one of those players fans love watching playing on the course. Turning professional even back when he was a teenager, Spieth has certainly earned all his success, working diligently on his swing and so on. The 12-time PGA Tour winner is easily one of the best putters in the game and has himself often conversed about his style.

Additionally, Spieth uses the Scotty Cameron Circle T 009. This putter has been with the Dallas-native since his school, probably providing him with a level of comfort.
