2021 was a great year for Jordan Spieth; he went from no. 92 to be in the top 10 golfers in the world. Moreover, Spieth also became a father last year.

It can also be said that last year for Jordan, was a roller coaster. After he missed the cut at the Farmers Insurance Open, he was ranked at 92 in the world rankings. To be in the top 100 is an honor unless you were at no. 1 position a couple of years ago.

The adrenaline kicked in for Spieth when he realized in no time he would be kicked out of the top 100. After the Farmers Insurance Open, Spieth recorded three top finishes in his next four starts. After his victory at the 2017 Open Championship, Jordan Spieth finally won an event; He won the Valero Texas Open in April 2021.

Eventually, Spieth made his way to the top 10 in no time. Furthermore, he will be participating in the 2022 Sentry Tournament of Champions.

The baby does not distract Jordan Spieth

Jordan Spieth was answering questions at the press conference before the 2022 Sentry Tournament of Champions.

A reporter asked Jordan whether his practice schedule has improved since he has a child at home now. He replied, “you know it’s so early that there’s not a whole lot I can provide.”

Spieth continued, “Annie keeps the kid alive essentially, so, um… I, uh, I help when I can.” As his son is merely three months older, Jordan thinks that there isn’t much for him to do. 

He further explained that the baby is still so little, and all he does is sleep.

Spieth concluded the answer by saying he looks forward to the time where he can travel with his wife and child. He said, “I’m excited to see what you know this… this year entails, and we plan on traveling together and um, should be a fun journey.”
