March Madness is here! And all the basketball fans have begun to place their best bets on their favorite teams. One of the top golfers in the world, Jordan Spieth, follows the game closely and has also picked his favorite team.

“I went to Texas, you know. I think Texas is going to be a sleeper,” said Spieth.
March Madness is the event where the sleeper team tries to establish themselves as a star basketball team. Every year, plenty of sleeper teams try to make their name in the big picture. The fans get involved in the fun and games as they actively place bets on their supporting team.

Notably, Spieth knows a lot about the Texas Longhorns. “They are solid, defensively,” added the golfer. “If they shoot the three-ball well, you gotta get the hot shooting in the tournament obviously that’s what it comes down to.”
The 28-year-old sounded confident when he revealed his support for the Longhorns in the end. He said, “I gotta go with my Horns!”

Spieth was discussing March Madness while giving interviews at the PLAYERS Championship. There, sadly, the golfer couldn’t make the cut. After two rounds, Spieth scored an overall score of 7-over par. Meanwhile, the Australian golfer, Cameron Smith, won the Championship with an overall score of 13-under after the end of round 4.
To no surprise, as soon as Spieth retweeted the interview of him sharing his opinion on March Madness, fans began to express their opinions about the matter.

Since the matter is about picking a team at a competition, most of the comments were either supporting Spieth’s answer or mocking him. One of them wrote, “Jordan ik ur a millionaire but this is just donating money to Vegas.”
