The split between Tiger Woods and Nike was arguably one of the biggest partnership breaks to date. The two spent 27 years together, generating over $500 million! But when Woods announced their impending departure, it sent shockwaves through the golf community. And one of the first golfers to comment was Jordan Spieth.

The 30-year-old was quick to take shots at Woods’s long-term brand. Furthermore, Spieth even offered a lucrative deal to the 48-year-old. Now it looks like he has something more substantial to offer to the legendary golfer. But will it be enough to win Woods over?

The 30-year-old just revealed UA Drive Pro golf shoes – which he will be wearing to the 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Under Armour claims these shoes have energy-returning foam and a swing support strap that provides better traction and comfort. The shoes are available for a price of $170.

While the shoes are a great pick for any golfer, this announcement from Spieth has an interesting timing. He unveiled his new shoes to the public just days after dissing Nike for losing Tiger Woods. During his interview, Jordan revealed he wants the legendary golfer to switch to Under Armour.

He said, I’m on the phone with him a decent amount—I’ll probably send him over a pair of the shoes I wear and see if we can start there.” Furthermore, Spieth said Woods should switch over to Under Armour if “he wants zero distractions in any weather conditions”.

Will Tiger Woods join Under Armour?

If the 48-year-old joined the clothing brand, Spieth would be the happiest man alive on earth. However, the 48-year-old is working on projects of his own. According to rumors, he is working with TaylorMade to launch a subbrand ‘Sunday Red’.

And the reports of TaylorMade applying for a trademark for the same have added fuel to the fire. But Woods has not made any official statement yet. In the meantime, Jordan Spieth will be donning new Under Armour kicks at the 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, hoping to catch the attention of Tiger Woods.
