The three-time major winning golfer Jordan Spieth has been going through a dry spell lately. After his victory at the 2021 Valero Texas Open, the golfer hadn’t won a tournament. However, that doesn’t mean he is not happy at the moment.
Spieth is enjoying his time as a newborn’s father and has already begun to collect things that his son would need to become a golfer.

“The guys at Vokey and my guys at Scotty Cameron have both made him a putter and a wedge.” Spieth sounded excited as he proudly talked about his nearly six-month-old son’s custom-made club collection.
“So as soon as he’s able to, I’m sure he’ll be swinging it around,” he added. Spieth was talking at the pre-press meet before the WGC Dell Technologies Match Play, where a reporter asked whether his mindset had changed since the birth of his child.

He explained that he is trying his best to manage to be a good father and a good golfer at the same time. “Trying to figure out that balance is something that I feel pretty patient with,” Spieth added.
Jordan Spieth thinks he is more consistent than he was last year!
” I feel like my game is in a better place than last year with not quite the consistent results,” said Spieth.

The 2021 WM Phoenix Open (T4) was Spieth’s best finish since his T3 finish at the 2019 PGA Championship. He then went on to win the 2021 Valero Texas Open and then finished second at the Open Championship. He was also able to secure the second position at the 2022 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
I feel really good about my game has actually gotten better,” said Spieth. He explained that even though it is hard to manage his time now since he has added responsibility as a father, he is still focusing on his golf. “My drive to try and be the best golfer in the world has never been higher,” he added.
