Justin Thomas is trying to do his best by providing the right opportunities for young golfers. The American Professional recently came back to his hometown to host the Justin Thomas Junior Championship, where he spent a lot of time with these young athletes and sponsors. Thomas has a unique stamp on his wedges, and recently the same stamp was seen on the wedges of a young golfer. And Thomas’ reaction to finding out about the news was hilarious.

Justin Thomas reacts to stamps on a Rookie’s wedges

Justin Thomas was just 10-11 years old when he first got his Titleist wedges stamped with the nickname ‘‘Radar’. It was a reference to his accurate shots with short clubs during the game. Thomas is now 29 years old, and still has the same nickname imprinted on his wedges. However, the ‘Radar’ stamping is not unique anymore ever since it was spotted on the Titleist wedges of last week’s Wyndham Championship winner, Joohyung ‘Tom’ Kim.

Apparently, Kim has multi-colored ‘Radar’ stampings behind his Titleist wedges and he was inspired by Justin in doing so. “I saw JT’s (wedges), you know, I’m a big fan of JT,” Kim explained. “I mean, it’s radar, and that’s what you want with the wedges.”

Although no one calls JT using the nickname Radar, he still wanted to say something after he found this out. When asked what his reaction to Tom Kim’s wedges was, he jokingly said, “I don’t know if I feel like I deserve a cut of his win…He’s a rookie I guess,… so maybe I’ll just create a fake invoice and put it as locker,” The reporter asked Thomas if it made him feel old since other players were emulating him. He replied, “I don’t think he’s really emulating me, is he?…I would prefer to look at it more as an honor than old…Yes, I am starting to become one of those guys”.

Since Thomas’ statement about the wedges, there has been an ongoing fun conversation between the two golfers via Twitter. Here’s their Twitter conversation about the same:

Thomas reacts to PGA Tour’s LIV Lawsuit

The LIV Golf players are frustrated due to their inability to play in the PGA Tour events. In reaction to the imposed ban, 11 LIV players have filed lawsuits against the PGA Tour. And PGA loyalist, Justin Thomas, decided to speak up about the matter.

In an episode of a well-known podcast, Thomas highlighted how the lawsuit is against each of the players individually. He said“They’re suing me…They’re suing Tiger (Woods). They’re suing every single one of us that they’ve looked in the face, looked in the eyes and played rounds of golf with…”

Thomas’ way of looking at the situation is not wrong, but different. The golfer has always been a team player and is still standing strong with the PGA. But the LIV Golf defectors are determined to be a part of both the leagues at the same time, the odds of which happening are not very high. What is your take on the LIV Golfers aiming to play for the PGA despite leaving it? Let us know in the comments section down below.
