The 29-year-old had yesterday’s best Father’s Day gift for his father and grandfather. He wore his usual fantastic white and what seems like an orange sole FootJoy shoe at the third major championship event. However, it included a big twist. Thomas’ golf shoes had his father’s and grandpa’s initials. The names were ‘PT’ and ‘Mike.’ Mike Thomas is his father, and PT is the American professional’s grandfather.

Moreover, he revealed his unique apparel before his final round began at the demanding yet beautiful Country Club. He uploaded an image of his kicks on Sunday using his official Twitter account. He tweeted the image with the caption, “Shoutout pops and grandpa, Happy Fathers Day to all the fathers out there.”  Thomas’s words prove the strong bond he and his father, and grandfather share. At the same time, it also shows how he leaves no opportunity to make them feel special.
