Tiger Woods has been under a lot of pressure after his return to the course. The 15-time major winner took a long break from golf to recover from the unfortunate car crash injuries that nearly cost him his leg. Woods has been trying to give his best in every match he’s playing since the Masters this season, but his struggle is visible due to his persisting leg injury.

Although, Thomas is fully aware of Woods’ situation and injuries and has been honest about them as well. But at the same time, Thomas has never stepped back from showing an immense brace for the players.

What to expect from Tiger Woods?

Tiger Woods came back to the golf world after a long break due to his injuries from the car accident he had met back in February 2021. His career-threatening injuries have clearly shown in the past few events he has been playing. But he’s happy to be a part of the 150th Open. “This is a pretty historic Open. I’m lucky enough to have won there, and want to play there again,” Woods said.

Woods is pretty confident about performing nicely at the Old Course as he has won two of his three Open on the same field. “I’ve won two Opens there, and it’s near and dear to my heart.” But looking at his walk, partially limping, when he entered alongside Justin Thomas, it is hard to see him anywhere near winning the event. Although his swing was as good as it was earlier, his injuries could still come in the way of his title.
