Justin Thomas Reacts to Rickie Fowler Making a Quintuple Bogey at the St. Jude Championship

Justin Thomas has made tons of records in his golf career. He is one of the few remaining loyal players on the PGA Tour. And there is another golfer who has somehow managed to stick to the former PGA Tour. it is former world amateur no. 1, Rickie Fowler. The golfer recently scored a 9 on 18, and his dear friend Justin Thomas has something to say about it.

Rickie Fowler barely made it to the FedEx Cup Playoffs last week at the last position. His entry at the 125th place already had his fans worried about him. However, Fowler recently carded a 9 while playing in an event. The PGA Tour posted a video of Fowler hitting the ball into the water, and even missing the hole from a few feet away.

However, Fowler’s closest friend Thomas decided to make fun of the golfer and comment on the post. “Its Ok (Rickie Fowler)… you kept er in the single digits” Thomas commented. Fowler replied, “Don’t think that I wasn’t thinking about it on that 3 footer for 9…must make” The two laughed it off on PGA Tour’s social media post, however, fans were not happy with Fowler’s performance on the field.

What is Thomas’ take on the PGA Tour-LIV lawsuit?

After being banned by the PGA Tour, some LIV Golf players decided to file a lawsuit against the former tour to be allowed to play in PGA Tour events. However, a lot of LIV Golf defectors have stepped back from taking responsibility for being involved in the lawsuit. And PGA Tour patron, Justin Thomas has no worries about the matter.

“It was just something to where I had zero impact, little control of the outcome. I wasn’t really worried about it. I have pretty good faith that when it gets to the level like that with lawyers and judges involved, that decision is going to be made that’s appropriate.” Thomas said.

Thomas also talked about new players joining the LIV Golf tour and how the rumors are “annoying” to him. “Nothing is official until it’s official. You hear so many names, so many rumors, so many things thrown around. That’s probably been the most annoying part to me.” he said.

Justin Thomas is one of the strongest pillars of the PGA Tour after Tiger Woods. Like Woods, Thomas also has no plans to leave the tour for any amount of money. However, there is still no certainty as to who stays or leaves when an undeniable offer is made.
