Kai Trump visited Bethpage this year with her grandfather, President Donald Trump. While the Ryder Cup itself was an incredible experience, the highlight for Kai was a custom gift she received from Team USA: a fitness tracker. Exclusively made for the Ryder Cup, Kai’s heartwarming reaction to the gift is worth taking a look at.

Sharing her Ryder Cup experience a month after her visit, Kai walked her fans through the BTS. “Oh, and Whoop made me a custom-made Team USA band,” she quickly added, flaunting the red fitness tracking band, with “Ryder Cup 2025” written on one end, and “Team USA” written on another.

Kai took it off for her audience to see. The coolest part? The color of the fitness tracker matches Kai’s nails. Expressing her gratitude for the band, Kai added, “Only Team USA players and some members had this. I’m so lucky to have this. It’s awesome. Also matches my nails. So cool.” Only the 2025 US Team members own the limited tracker, Scottie Scheffler being one of the few.

The Ryder Cup created the sleek band in association with Whoop, a wearable fitness tracker company. Whoop 5.0, made specifically for Team USA players, offered advanced health metrics, including heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, and recovery insights. The brand also served as the event’s Official Health and Fitness Wearable, helping the golfers get updates on their bodily metrics in real-time.

Moreover, beyond the special gift, Kai also shared about her show-stopping Ryder Cup experience. While her grandfather, Donald Trump, greeted the American roster, Kai basked in the adrenaline-inducing energy of the crowds.

“I had the best time of my entire life today. It was so nice to just be there and support Team USA and all the support from the fans and everything. It was crazy. I had a great experience and probably one of the coolest things I’ve ever been to,” Kai Trump added on her YouTube video.

However, the Ryder Cup week was special in more than one way for Kai.

At just 18, Kai is already making her mark both as an entrepreneur and a golfer. With over 1.3 million subscribers on YouTube, her influence also extends to the sphere of digital content. Following in the footsteps of her mother’s boyfriend, Tiger Woods, Kai has her plans for the University of Miami golf set in stone.

While she continues to take on bold new ventures, in her free time, Kai enjoys attending major sporting events, reflecting her athletic roots.

Kai Trump hits the stands: From the Ryder Cup to the UFC

Kai’s deep-seated love for golf reflects her passion for the sport, where her mother’s partner created his own legend. President Donald Trump shares this love with his eldest granddaughter. Taking the Ryder Cup as an opportunity to share a sweet moment with Kai, while rooting for his country’s pride, President Trump didn’t hesitate while making his trip to the stands.

Kai and the President boarded Marine One before landing at the Republic Airport on September 26. The young golf enthusiast stood by her grandfather as he saluted during the pre-match flyover, showcasing his patriotism. Guarded by Secret Service snipers behind the bulletproof glass near the tee box, the 18-year-old experienced one of the most legendary moments of America up front.

But the Bethpage is not the only sporting event this duo has attended.

Earlier this year, in April 2025, President Trump walked out to a cheering crowd in UFC 314, alongside Kai Trump and UFC CEO Dana White. The venue filled with cathartic chants of “U-S-A” as Kai soaked in the charged fighting atmosphere. Cool is one word to describe the experience, as per Kai, who said, “I would say the Ryder Cup, the Masters, then UFC—but really cool experience.”

The event also featured other high-profile personalities, including Elon Musk, Kash Patel, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Tulsi Gabbard, and Marco Rubio. Trump praised the UFC for organizing a strong fight card. UFC CEO Dana White acknowledged the valued presence of the president, reiterating his worth to the country.

“Think of all the things President Trump had to go through to get back here. All the powerful forces that tried to take him down: the mainstream media, partisan prosecutors, assassins. It’s absolutely insane what this man has been through. And only President Trump could have fought through all those obstacles, all the attacks, and still come out the winner,” White remarked.

Kai’s experiences at the Ryder Cup, Masters, and UFC highlight her growing presence in the world of sports. She’s embracing every moment, learning from legends, and carving her own path.
