Though the LIV Golf star recorded a better score in the first round than his previous two visits to Augusta National, his words against the iconic venue may end up haunting him in the form of ‘Karma’.

The 29-year-old moved to LIV Golf last year, making him least worried about making the cut at golf tournaments. Nonetheless, DeChambeau is feeling the pressure at the first Major of the season. But three years before his struggles at Augusta National Golf Course, Bryson claimed the course was very much easier.

Before paying his respect to the legendary golf course in 2020, DeChambeau claimed the 72-par golf course can be considered as a Par-67 course when golfers bring their ‘A game’. Nonetheless, the LIV Golf star was humbled again by the 90-year-old golf course at the Firethorn.

Karma strikes Bryson DeChambeau at the 15th hole

While his words may have upset many fans, the 2020 US Open winner scored 67 in the second round at Augusta National back in 2021. However, DeChambeau has failed to imitate his performance since then. His misery at the Masters continues at the ongoing Major and can easily be depicted at the 15th hole.

The Par 5 Firethorn has given the golfers a tough time. During the first round, four double bogeys and three bogeys were recorded at the hole. Nonetheless, in the second round, Bryson DeChambeau was the first one to score a bogey on the 15th hole. The golfer was trying to land into the greens with his eagle shot.
