Several years of hard work finally paid off for the budding golfer, and he has now begun his journey of growing into a professional athlete on the tour. It is a new beginning for him after serving in the US Air Force, largely as a finance officer for five and a half years.

Kyle Westmoreland could make a birdie on his final hole of the Korn Ferry Tour season. United Leasing & Finance, set the stage at the Korn Ferry Tour Championship, where everyone waited to see if he could make the PGA Tour via The Finals 25.
The final selection came down to Westmoreland and Joey Garber for the final PGA TOUR event. Garber finished in a five-way T12, whereas Westmoreland earned the final spot on The Finals 25, just 4.5 points clear of Garber.

The Korn Ferry Tour is the developmental tour for the PGA Tour. It features professional golfers who have not yet reached the Tour. The official Twitter handle of the tour appreciated how Westmoreland spent 10 years doing all the hard work to reach this stage.

The Korn Ferry Tour also applauded the Air Force and said Kyle is the first US Air Force graduate to be part of the Tour.
